Belly Pics

After several requests from family and friends, we finally got Kristin to suck it up and post some pics of the belly in all of its glory. These pictures were taken at about the 39 week mark. We assure you that there were no watermelons, basketballs, balloons or pillows involved in the taking of these pictures :-) Enjoy!

Hi you two! I love the blog for those of us that don't get to see you everyday. You look soooo good Kristin. I predict by Sunday or Monday your inner workings are going to get the signal to get 'er done...Monday is a full moon! Just remember what all of you want...your body, you and Hani, Gavin, gravity...to deliver this baby from inside to outside. Don't fight it....the contractions are your body's muscles working in perfect unison to work Gavin out. Don't think of them as pain...you'll see and feel soon...it is really just major muscle squeezes (almost like temporary charlie horses). If you can "lean into them" and relax (like an extended Kegal flex during the contraction, you'll cut down on the number it takes to do this. Also, stay upright for as long as you can and elicit the aid of gravity while you're working with the contractions. I predict you are going to be a champion "birther"...simply because I can't imagine you not being in charge and rallying all fronts and actions to victory. I love you honey. My thoughts and prayers are with you all every day. I won't come over Easter weekend because you will have plenty of company. By the middle of June, I'll be off school for two months and you'll be in better shape to enjoy company by then. I'll come see little mister before that though. Prepare to participate in nature's dance...and I hear you can really get down and boogie!!!!
